Hey Reader, This week a member of our free community reached out to me - they're an energy worker of around 15 years: "I love the work... but the sessions wipe me out." She'd tried grounding. Protection. Cord cutting. White light. Salt baths. Clearing rituals. More Reiki. Less Reiki. She'd become convinced she was simply "too empathic" to work with people without paying the price. And I hear versions of this every week. Somewhere along the way, many of us accepted that depletion is just part of being an energy worker. I did the same thing. That if we care deeply, if we are sensitive, if we are doing powerful healing - then feeling anything from drained to really ill afterwards is simply the cost of the work. This is fundamentally inaccurate. In my experience, most practitioners weren't taught the structural mechanics of energy itself. They were taught techniques. So when they're the sponge or the battery in a healing session and end up depleted, they assume it's the cost of being intuitive or empathic, rather than a problem with the energetic architecture they're working within. Once you understand what's actually happening with energy (structurally) during a healing session, and the energetic architecture that stops any practitioner depletion from occurring in the first place, it can change. I've delved deeply into this inside the second workshop (called "BUILD") within a no-cost 3-part workshop. Most practitioners spend years trying to solve energetic depletion with more techniques. You only need to look at my website or listen into my podcast for stories from myself and others. I know wholeheartedly, that the problem isn't that you're missing another protection practice. Or more grounding. It's that - if what I am sharing here resonates - you've never been shown the underlying energetic structure of what's happening in a healing session or been supported to uncover the full solution. Inside BUILD, should you be called to dive in, you'll discover: ⚙️ Why practitioners end up being a sponge or a battery in the first place - and the energetic state that naturally prevents it.
⚙️ The three distinct energy sources present in every healing session, and how working with them all = safe, sustainable practice.
⚙️ Why working from the sovereign Hollow Bone state, rather than inherited lineage-based methods, prevents practitioner depletion before it begins - so you stop carrying what was never yours to carry.
You can access the workshop directly here if you're called - there's no email address needed. You'll be taken straight into our app space where the workshop lives. In gratitude, Jayne |

Hey Reader, I invite you to reflect with me on conversations shaping energy work spaces this week - the stories we inherit, why questioning them can feel uncomfortable, and what it means to consider the perceived power we hold as practitioners. Women who refused I'm thinking about Nellie Bly. Born in 1864, Nellie was a journalist who challenged the limited subjects women reporters were often expected to write about. In 1887, she joined the New York World and was given an assignment to...
Hey Reader, I invite you to reflect with me on conversations shaping energy work spaces this week - capital-P Purpose, what happens when teachers think they know best & what we can do if it feels like there's something more to intuition. Women who refused I'm thinking about Elsie Inglis. Born in 1864, Elsie was a Scottish doctor, surgeon and suffragist who challenged the idea of what women were and weren't allowed to do. When she offered her medical services to the War Office in 1914, she was...
Hey Reader, I invite you to reflect with me on some conversations I notice shaping energy work spaces this week - conditional belonging, our own answers vs someone else's, and why many of us keep searching for what's missing.. Women who refused I'm thinking about Margaret Cavendish. Born in 1623 in England, Margaret was a writer and natural philosopher who published Observations upon Experimental Philosophy, questioning aspects of the experimental approach of the newly formed Royal Society -...
