Hey Reader, The moment a practitioner shares their distance work feels less potent than in-person sessions, I already have understanding of what's happening. They're trying to send energy across space like it's a package through the mail. And it's nothing they're doing "wrong". I understand it, because that was my experience of distance Reiki too, for many years. This is exactly what practitioners have said to me repeatedly recently. "It feels surface. Like I'm reaching across a gap." And the gap they're experiencing isn't actually between them and their client. I've found, it's the gap between physical realm consciousness and spiritual realm consciousness. Here's what shifts that, in my experience: Potent distance healing doesn't happen in the space between two bodies. It happens in non-ordinary reality - what we call NOR. When we as the practitioner, enter into the Spiritual realm to allow the Spirit of Reiki energy & the Guides to do the healing work. Here we are no longer working with universal life force (Reiki) that's available within the physical realm. We're working with the Spiritual core of the energy. In NOR, distance doesn't exist. Space doesn't exist. Time doesn't exist. This is why the potency of our work is identical whether your client is on a screen three thousand miles away or sitting in the chair across from you. The physical distance isn't the variable. The physical realm isn't where healing happens anyway. But here's what happens instead: A practitioner attempts distance work while still operating from physical consciousness. (Not their "fault" - it's the way they've been taught) They're trying to send energy across physical space. They're calculating the distance like it matters. They're assuming their client's location has relevance to the work. And that's actually a really reasonable deduction to make, given in our culture, we don't often understand or work with the Spiritual realm interconnectedly - like our ancestors once did. And from that consciousness? Of course it can feel surface-level. Of course it can feel like something's missing. Because they're working with one hand tied behind their back - reaching across physical space instead of entering the realm where healing actually occurs. The shift is entering NOR fully, in the Hollow Bone state. Letting go of the physical realm frame entirely. Understanding that when you cross into the Spiritual realm, you've already transcended the very limitations you thought were real. A client's physical location becomes irrelevant because you're not working in the physical dimension anymore. The healing power? It's not diminished. It was never actually limited. It was just operating from a consciousness that insisted limitations existed. I've found that when practitioners recognise this - when they stop trying to send energy across a gap and instead enter the realm where distance has no meaning - their entire experience of distance work transforms. Because they're working from a completely different level of reality. This is where the actual power lives. I'd love to know if distance healing is something you've felt too is limited, less potent or just "off"? Hit 'reply' & let me know. In gratitude Jayne |
In my weekly emails I support you as a qualified or aspiring Reiki practitioner / teacher, to reclaim your own Spiritual authority. So you can stop outsourcing your power to the hierarchy of mainstream Reiki levels or lineages for permission-based access. My emails help you to craft a Reiki connection, practise, teaching pathway or service offering aligned with your authentic Reiki medicine - free of dogma, restrictions & rigid systems.
Hey Reader, For intuitive Western Reiki practitioners, how you've been taught isn't always going to feel deeply connected. This includes symbols, chakras and even attunements. And I want to share on this today, because it's been cropping up in conversation a lot recently. You'll likely feel like I did: ..there's deeper connection available ..somethings missing ..or, "I'm intuitive, so why does this feel all a bit fragmented?" >>> when you’re working through a mainstream Reiki lineage, that...
Hey Reader, I appreciate I can sometimes sound contradictory: I validate practitioners direct experience while telling them they don't need external validation. I've been asked a few questions on this over the past week, so I thought I'd share with you too, in case you find it useful. When I validate what a practitioner is perceiving or an experience in a previous Reiki learning space - when I name the energetic mechanics of what they sense already to be true - that's not the same as asking...
Hey Reader, In this week's podcast episode (with additional free materials here) I'm sharing a practical Spirit-led technique. So you can connect with Reiki as a living intelligence & wise ally, rather than it being a concept or mental framework. In my experience, this reclaims your own authority - without outsourcing your power to the hierarchy of mainstream levels and lineage for permission-based access. The 3 key differences between sovereign connection and theory-based mainstream...
