UNDILUTED #004

Hey Reader,

I invite you to reflect with me this week on ways we often reshape ourselves in a bid to belong, & what becomes possible when we stop measuring our experience, medicine, and path against anyone else's...

Women who refused

This week, I'm thinking about Emily Dickinson.

Around 150 years ago, she wrote nearly 1800 poems, yet only a handful were published during her lifetime - many of them altered to fit the literary conventions of the day.

She continued writing anyway.

What strikes me isn't simply her persistence, but that the body of work she left behind remained unmistakably her own, despite a culture that favoured something different.

It makes me wonder how often we edit our own experience, not because it isn't true, but because we've absorbed the idea that there's a "right way".

Perhaps the truest belonging begins when we stop rewriting ourselves for anyone else's acceptance.

Neurodiversity, Chronic Illness & Aphantasia: Rethinking what Spiritual connection looks like (with Mhairi)

A conversation about belonging, comparison, inherited expectations and trusting the way Spirit already meets you. Season 5, Episode 16

Reconnecting with wonder - finding meaning in the ordinary

5 minute Spirit-led reconnection practise
Designed to reignite the magic of tangible, practical spirit-led connection, this week's practice invites you into quiet reflection, where the natural world becomes a doorway to Spirit-led insight, deeper relationship and the extraordinary wisdom hidden within ordinary moments.

FOR STUDENTS:

What's actually changed?

Felt change is rarely loud I find. More often, it's recognised in retrospect. And now that you've just graduated, you might be feeling similarly.

It's the quiet moment when you realise you're no longer asking the same questions. The hesitation that once felt so familiar simply isn't there. The need to perform, prove or seek certainty before trusting doesn't grip like before. Not because you've mastered every answer, but because your relationship with yourself, Spirit and energy work has fundamentally changed. Crossing any threshold, I like to consider: What feels easeful now that once felt impossible? Which beliefs (about self or energy work), no longer feel true? What has Spirit-led experience shown you as undeniably your medicine? And perhaps the biggest question of all: who have you become during this evolution?

When your medicine meets the world

Whether you're joining us inside the Graduate's Hearth or not, you're likely to notice your heart-led work will keep asking new things of you. Our authentic medicine isn't something we're gifted simply to keep to ourselves, even though it can feel safer that way. It reveals more of itself through being shared. Through meeting those waiting for it. Until then, part of it remains only potential. You may now find yourself sitting with different questions. Who am I here to serve? How do I call in those people? What product shape does my work naturally want to take? Notice how what wants to emerge now may be very different from what you thought you'd be creating coming into the pathway 3 months ago.

"I've been absolutely terrified every moment of my life - and I've never let it keep me from doing a single thing I wanted to do."

Georgia O'Keeffe

A useful reflection on my path.

Waiting until we feel completely ready is rarely how birthing meaningful medicine begins or evolves I've found.

Our confidence continues to grow through the living of our medicine, not before it.

FOR GRADUATES:

When your work feels like you

As your product begins to take shape, you may notice something unexpected. The more deeply we trust our relationship with Spirit, the less interested we become in creating something that just simply "works", and instead we create work that feels true. Both the tangible Spirit-led skills and physical earthly skills you've cultivated over the past 3 weeks to craft your product, now meet one another. Rather than building from strategy alone, you're learning to co-create from the power of your own truth. It's the first step to calling in those who will greatly benefit from your medicine. This week, notice where you're creating from genuine expression rather than expectation. The work that is truly ours doesn't ask us to become someone else in order to birth it into the world.

A myth to sit with: Psyche

Some understand Cupid and Psyche as a story about enduring impossible trials before love can be regained. I've always found myself drawn to a different thread. Each task asks Psyche to become more discerning, more patient and more deeply in relationship with the world around her. She succeeds not through force, but by paying attention, responding wisely to each situation, and accepting the help offered by the natural world, animals and the divine. When I read the myth this way, it reminds me that our own medicine unfolds in much the same way. We don't create it all at once through determination alone. We shape it, refine it and discover it through relationship, until one day we realise it has always been ours to bring into the world.

An invitation to be seen

As the Pathway pauses until September, the student section of UNDILUTED will become a space to celebrate and spotlight the graduates now bringing their Spirit-led medicine into the world. If you're called, I invite you to share your story, your offering, the medicine. Not because it has to be perfect, but because someone in our community may be waiting for exactly what only you can bring. This isn't about having everything figured out - head to the Graduates Chat Space & fill out the document with your details so I can share your magic with our community.

Hey Reader, I invite you to reflect with me on conversations shaping energy work spaces this week - the stories we inherit, why questioning them can feel uncomfortable, and what it means to consider the perceived power we hold as practitioners. Women who refused I'm thinking about Nellie Bly. Born in 1864, Nellie was a journalist who challenged the limited subjects women reporters were often expected to write about. In 1887, she joined the New York World and was given an assignment to...
